The Downley Community Appraisal
Sincere thanks to all the volunteers who took part in the house to house calls with the survey forms. In spite of the severe bad weather, the results in respect of completed on line and hard copy returns are very encouraging. At the time of press, over 650 household surveys and 200 hundred Young Peoples survey forms had been completed. Work will start in January to analyse the data collected and initial results should be available before Easter, with a report including an Action Plan being available at Downley Day on Saturday 19th June 2010.
Many thanks to Barry and Jeannette Gay for their hard work in inputting all the data from the hard copies.
There will be opportunities emerging from the survey for residents in Downley to join in some of the community activities such as implementing the action plan in a number of projects and joining the parish council ( there will be elections held in May 2011 ). For further information, please contact the Clerk.
